Sourcing & Distillation
We source agarwood chips directly from cultivators and traders in Southeast Asia, then distil in our own copper stills. Direct sourcing removes 2 – 3 layers of middlemen, which is why our wholesale prices for aged Cambodian and Hindi oud sit meaningfully below the Dubai souq wholesale rate for equivalent grades.
Quality Grades Explained
Super grade: aged 5+ years, deep smoke and honeyed sweetness, used in luxury attars and gifting SKUs.
Premium grade: aged 2 – 4 years, balanced woody-animalic profile, ideal for brand hero SKUs.
Commercial grade: fresh distillation, cleaner and lighter, suitable for everyday retail and blended attars.
Natural vs Synthetic Oud
Both have a place. Natural oud oil carries provenance, price stability challenges, and complex regulatory paperwork for export. Synthetic oud accords give brands consistency, lower cost, and easier compliance for large volume launches. We supply both, and most brands run a mixed catalogue.
